About us
Richmond Legal Advice Service (RLAS):
- provides free legal advice and assistance
- has volunteers who are qualified lawyers
- has no restrictions or no eligibility criteria, and
- operates in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
Note: RLAS is facing overwhelming demand at our sessions. Every week, RLAS has to turn away people who come to our sessions. If you come to one of RLAS’s sessions, RLAS may not be able to see you, regardless of how early you arrive. As a guide, if more than 12 people are waiting in the queue outside Holy Trinity Church, it is highly unlikely you will be seen. Based on current demand, if you arrive at or after 20:00, it is highly unlikely RLAS will be able to see you. While you are free to wait, this will not mean that waiting until everyone else is seen will mean that a RLAS volunteer can see you.
When we are open
RLAS runs an advice session every other Tuesday evening between 8pm and 9.30pm in Richmond.
